Let's Make Matcha!
Start your matcha ritual in just 3 easy steps

1. Sift
Sift 1/2 tsp (1g) to 1 tsp (2g) of matcha powder into a bowl, then pour 70–100ml of hot water (~80°c) to prepare for whisking.
Tip: Sifting is essential to avoid bitter clumps and to create a smooth, frothier matcha.

2. Whisk
Whisk briskly in a zig-zag (M or W) motion for about 20 seconds, until the matcha is fully blended and frothy.
Tip: Avoid pressing the whisk against the bottom of the bowl. This can damage the delicate bamboo tines.

3. Enjoy
Pour the matcha into a cup. To make a matcha latte, simply add your favorite plant-based milk.
Tip: We recommend using plant-based milk, as dairy milk may reduce the absorption of matcha's antioxidants.
